As we prepare the ICS application, the question of how we will measure our success comes up over and over again. So is this is about test prep and testing? Not at ICS , as I have stated in prior posts. Not at all.
But we are accountable to the State, and to you, our parents and stakeholders, for achieving good outcomes. If we are chartered and grow according to our plans, we'll receive close to $20 million in public funds over five years.
How will we know we're using that money as effectively as possible?

Getting this right takes more than following a formula. It will require some trial and error.
Which is why we're delighted to have the support and help of Columbia University professor Aaron Pallas on our journey. Aaron has devoted nearly 25 years of his life to trying to understand what works and what doesn't. It's no secret that he's been critical of many accountability schemes that have been tried so far.
